Might be a little light on updates this week for GeeksNGamers while I'm at GDC. I'll be back to regular posting Sunday! I have lots of submissions from you guys I still need to get through, I appreciate them, keep them coming, I haven't forgotten!
HAIL TO THE PIXELS--INTRODUCING PIXALRY
As many of you know, before becoming a contributor to OTL Gaming, Billy Hay was the face and curator of GeeksNGamers. Alas, that is not the case any longer.
But fear not! Billy has a brand new blog called Pixalry. It is an art and design blog focused on sharing the work of talented artists while spreading nerd and gaming culture. Billy will continue contributing here too!

New Adventures with GeeksNGamers
Sad news today guys – after almost three years with the GeeksNGamers team, our curator JylesHay has decided to leave us to pursue his own projects. We encourage you to support his new project, http://pixalry.tumblr.com/, where he will continue to curate art. You can also follow him on twitter @jyleshay. Back when we put out the call for a blogger who’d be willing to join our team of dreamers working on this crazy GeeksNGamers project (all without any pay in sight!), we were so lucky to have JylesHay volunteer. He has dedicated a lot of time and effort to this blog, and we owe so much of its success to him. GeeksNGamers is sad to be losing such a valuable member of our team, but we wish him the best of luck in his new project and future endeavors.
BUT DON’T WORRY! The GeeksNGamers team is committed to keeping this blog alive and we will continue to scour the far reaches of Geekdom to bring you freshest geek-related features.
Please allow us to re-introduce the GeeksNGamers project. GnG started as a team of geeks & gamers, who also happened to be programmers & artists. Our vision: to create a community where geeks and gamers all over the world can stay connected between the worlds & communities they frequent. It is incredible the friendships we build as we journey together through the countless worlds in the Geekverse. Through Azeroth, Middle Earth, Summoner's Rift, & New Eden... through coding projects, films, art, and cyberspace, we've formed bonds as strong as any.
We started the GeeksNGamers blog over 3 years ago not only to showcase our projects, but also to showcase what brings our geeks and gamers community together: all the amazing art, video games, stories, comics, characters, and creativity that we love.
I’m happy to announce that I’ll be returning to GeeksNGamers full-time, which will include curating the tumblr once again. Any artists who would like their work featured here, please continue to contact us!
In the coming weeks, keep your eyes out on our main page as we are cooking up some exciting new features in our super secret laboratory to help us, help you, help us all better serve the artists and the geek community that count on us to spread their work. We are always looking for new ways to expand our capacity to help all kinds of creatives in Geekdom.
Thanks for your continued support over the years. As of now, none of us has ever received a dime working on this project and while we figure out a way to help us pay for costs it's the camaraderie of the geeks and gaming community (and some credit card debt) that keeps us going. See you in space cowboys and girls because it's adventure time!
