I made that dumb name years ago on a spur-of-the-moment and one day I’ll buy a core membership so I can change it. So this is where we’re at in this point of life: the car (that I only got in 2018) needs a new transmission. If I do everything they want done, it’s going to be $5500 plus labor. If I just fix the transmission, $4600 plus labor. So I guess it’s time to start figuring out if it’ll be better to repair or replace the car? And even more important, how to afford either one? We literally just finished moving and haven’t recuperated our funds from it yet — and I already contacted Nissan, who basically said “too bad you missed the warranty that no one told you about”.
