i would have agreed with you in the past re: the "at least i have [insert let's player here]" thing, but... we don't know these people.

i'm not going to Immediately dismiss jesse and octo, but all we'll ever know about them is how they present themselves.

this is deja vu to the extreme for me. with the ryan and cryaotic shit, i first thought "wait, them? oh, they would never do such a thing. this must be fake or taken out of context." now, i'm like "well, how the fuck would i know?"

i want to believe dan was innocent because that's how he presents himself: a chill, music-loving dude in his 40s. now, with solid evidence to the contrary, i don't feel right believing that wholesome image anymore.

I don’t get the hate for that song, and I don’t understand people who monitor every damn show on twitter, just waiting for U2 to piss them off. It’s really weird.

I totally agree. like, being a setlist nerd is one thing, if you enjoy tracking them every night then good for you! but i don’t understand the people who get pissed OFF when they leave one song out or switch one song for another they don’t like as much - especially if they weren’t even at the gig???? idk, it’s just weird. also, people who get angry about stagnant setlists confuse me too. because okay, i understand wanting them to switch it up, but you also have to understand that gigs were never meant to be streamed every night of a gig like they are today (and with last tour, too). you have to take all the information available to us today with a grain of salt, or something. I’m not really sure how to word what I’m thinking here, honestly. But you get me? :)

GASP HOW WAS KAIZERS

they were so good!!! i was worried they would be a bit burned out after nearly 50 shows (dec 9 was supposed to be the final one of the run, until they added shows), but they sounded so energetic and everything felt so natural. 🥰🥰🥰 i also met someone in the queue to get things signed who said they sound a lot more spontaneous now compared to stavanger, so that was very reassuring to hear!

thanks to that same girl i could attend the after party and the karaoke was a lot of fun. :') they were supposed to do christmas themed songs, but janove and terje were rather.... creative with their approach to christmas. janove did song 2 by blur because it was "only two minutes" and justified it by asking the crowd to sing ho ho instead of woohoo. i have uploaded a video of him singing song 2 on my twitter bc i love britpop and the crossover was nearly too much for me: https://twitter.com/bonojour/status/1733798781441786226?t=f9q4it32k16JE3n6my51Mw&s=19

also with the signing they were really nice too! my mum was with me (she went along with me to norway to visit the christmas markets) and she said thanks and bye bye to rune and terje 😭😭❤️. they were a bit quiet but they made sure to strike up a short convo with people!
