Ishval. She could feel the trauma here. The closest province to the desert she’d crossed, the first taste of Amestris, and she hadn’t wanted another. There was only one word for what had been done to the Ishvalan people, and Arshia didn’t like to say it aloud.

Still, she had met proud Ishvalans. Peaceful and kind Ishvalans. And of course she’d met the ones bent on revenge. She still bore a few scars from the last one, who had wrongly assumed she was an Amestrian Alchemist. Here, she was careful to keep her face covered.

Today, however, Arshia saw something unexpected. A life force she’d never encountered before. Young, certainly, but what was age to her? So she walked calmly, cloak covering her face, until she saw an opportunity. She pulled her hood down and stepped clear into view.

“Excuse me, miss. I ain’t so sure I’m in the right place. Couldja maybe direct me t’the nearest tavern or inn? I’ve been travelin’ for--” she trailed off, appearing to consider how long it had actually been, before deciding on, “a while now, an’ I could use a place t’rest.”

Hi mods! May I reserve Linkle from Hyrule Warriors please? The date is 20/07 and my personal is mrmawhawk. Thank you!

Unfortunately at this time we are not allowing Linkle to be mused in Red Thread.We have discussed this at length as a team and have decided that while Link himself is a character currently - we can not allow Linkle.The reason behind this is the following:We normally have ‘gender bends’ as a case by case basis, however we do understand that Linkle is not just  a gender bend and Nintendo gave her a side story in Hyrule Warriors Legends - However she is still a version of Link or The Hero himself regardless of her gender. Because this is an AU verse we cannot have more than one version of the same character, for the sake the original muse. By allowing Linkle to be her own character because she has her own backstory and personality quirks we would therefore have to also allow all the other versions of Link as their own characters - as they all have their own stories and little quirks and traits; which in a modern AU setting wouldn’t make sense to have multiples of the same person.

We are sorry as this is obviously not what you wanted to hear but this is still our current stance on genderbends and ‘versions’ of the same character - and we are currently not going to change this stance.

Chrom steps out of the convenience store, feeling happier than he had been for weeks. The weather finally cleared up, giving them plenty of blue skies and bright sun for days. He also stumbled upon a new favorite snack that reminded him of the egg tarts that Emmeryn baked for him and Lissa during special occasions.

Problem was the stuff was hard to find in the city so the blue-haired teen hoarded it whenever he could. Chrom knew it was a terrible thing to do but few things here reminded him of home.

“Is there something I can help you with?”

Chrom blinks at the stranger giving him an odd look. Was it just him or was the guy glaring at his pudding cup?
