Once you realize "don't get hit lol" is genuinely the strategy Silksong wants you to take, it becomes a lot less frustrating I feel. Hornet's ideal style is that of a coward, why tank damage when you can only heal once in a while, just dodge and run like you forgot you kept the stove on. And it's a lot easier to do that with Hornet's insanely agile moveset. Just gotta get good at dodging, I don't think that makes the game unbalanced. Just difficult. It's not an issue that needs to be fixed.

#i used to be in the difficulty slider camp for games like this #but i've been thinking about the 'author's vision' argument #and yeah it'd kinda suck to strip that away #i don't blame people with disabilities and such installing mods to make things better #but if you don't do that and are capable of playing but you just rage all the time #then maybe the game just isn't for you #or you need to take more breaks idk #just my thoughts #gekko.txt #silksong

Phantom is usually the object of discourse but I wonder how many people know about it/its Cardinius. Or they/them Lugoli and Groal. Second Sentinel gets some they/them recognition, but Twelfth Architect gets she/her'd so often despite also using they/them pronouns. And there's probably more I'm missing. This game is so woke and that's so wonderful to me
