There is a foaming soap dispenser in my house. Someone refilled it with gel soap. I need to stress that the soap dispenser is for *foaming* soap. Gel soap is not fluid enough to become foam. Gel soap, when put through this pump, does something else entirely.
It squeezes out with air rapidly bubbling through it. Pushing it out feels similar to blowing your nose, and the accumulated bubbles in the gel give the impression that the dispenser has just done so in your hand. The wet, splorching sound that accompanies it really adds to the illusion.
I hate it with every fiber of my being, but I refuse to leave the restroom with unclean hands. So I must suffer the snot-soap-pump.
