Summary: every time rian gets to go back to stonewood from the castle, he goes to see you, but he has baby fever
(where deet gets pushed but idk what’s it called)
You sat near the brew bar, waiting for your oh so beloved rian to come home from the castle of the crystal.while waiting you took a Sip of the cool brew from the clay colored cup, you looked up at the other gelfling of stonewood, childlings and fizzgigs running around the open clearing.
Gently setting down the cup, keeping your silent gaze on the children, as they dashed after one another, laughed, wrestled, and laid on the cool dirt of the clearing. Not even noticing the standing figure looming over your sitting form at the log stools.
You felt hands slowly wrap themselves around your waist, a startled Yelp slipped past your lips, quickly turning your head to look at the hands owners.
The first thing you saw was brown hair mixed with a deep shade of royal blue.
As fast as you could, you stood up from the log stool, jumping into his small arms. His metal helmet hitting the ground from the impact of your jump.
He took a few steps back to catch you, the both of you giggling and laughing as he spun you around.
After he gently set you down back on the stool, smiling down at you, hands still intertwined.
“So, what were you so focused on love?” He smiled, looking up above your head to clearing where the childlings still played, you leaned you head back to see what he was mentioning, your arms stretching while his green tinted hands holding on to yours to keep you from falling back.
You lifted your head up to look at his smug smirk, he pulled on your hands to pull you all the way up to him.
“I see you’ve been looking at the childlings. Wanna tell me what’s that about?”
“I was bored, and I was waiting for you.”
Your rolled your (eye color) eyes at him playfully, as he gave you sly wink. He turned to sit on the stool next to you, as the two of you looked at the childlings.
Giving a side glance to him, to his attention laid on young couple, they were teaching their little one to walk.
The childling took small steps, almost like a waddle to its father. Hands far in front of the both of them, ready to catch each other any moment. Then the childling waddled the rest of they way to it’s fathers opening arms. Both parents clapping and praising the young one, mother jumping up and down in excitement, the father lifting the child high into the air above them.
Rian caught your now focused gaze at the family, he threw an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close to him. Slipping back into reality, you looked up at Rian, his gaze locked on yours.
“Wha- Rian! You barely come home anymore, I can’t take care of a childling by my self!” You shouted from below him, head slipping into his lap.
“I promise! I’ll let father- Captain Ordon know, and he’ll let me off more! S/O I promise!!”
He was chuckling at you, laughing at your pouting face.
Sighing you lifted a hand up to his face and rubbed his cheek, he sighed in relief as he leaned into your hand.
“We’ll see Rian.” You winked at his smirking face.
