Finished an old sketch I had in my files; a character that @shadowmelter and I made up. Her name is G’eldriia or "Gell"; otherwise known as Lady Arachnid. She's an assassin for an evil demon-worshipping organization known as the Syndicate which also fronts as a "regular" street gang known as the Crimson Claws.

The Syndicate's leader is a three-eyed fallen Aasimar named Berith, and he wants to sever the barrier between the material plane, heaven, and the seven hells to turn the material plane (where mortals reside) into a battleground for the demons and the gods.
There are seven smaller sub-leaders for the Syndicate, G'eldriia is the leader of the assassination sector; she used to be a drider, cursed by Lolth in the underdark, but she was discovered by a humanitarian organization and changed back into a drow, but the transformation couldn't be fully reversed leading to her having extra eyes, arms, and being immune to almost all poisons. Unfortunately, while Lolth cursed many innocent drow which have also been helped by this humanitarian organization, she was not one of them. And got cursed because she kept killing other Lolth followers for their percieved weaknesses or just because they pissed her off.
She gets a monthly stipend from the government as part of the funds for helping people who have been afflicted by curses, and she also has a hextagram (in-universe instagram) where she posts body positivity content and always talks about moving on from terrible things that have happened in the past. She's quite a popular influencer which helps because she also has a taste for the finer things, and enjoys the additional income from her hextagram, tiktok, facescroll, and youtube channels. She joined the Syndicate for both the ability to earn lots of money very quickly and for her to scratch that itch she has for culling the weak.
She'd recently taken a protige under her wing, a sociopath (self-proclaimed) named Arte Singh who gave up his entire life as the son of a wealthy capitalist to kill people. Priorities. Also he's Jax's ex-boyfriend who is extremely jealous of Aegis and refuses to admit that he could ever be jealous of such a plain person as Aegis. But that's a story for another time.
...we don’t get to see much of Goo and Gell together in dotx... just, one game of twister and a chat in the treehouse... so i wanted to picture a moment of them together.
I'm doing a one shot tonight as the DM and I am pretty excited. Bringing in level 15 characters ripped out of their universe and into my world for reasons I can't say why quite yet.
On Wednesday I was watching Talks Machina and Matthew Mercer talked about being proud of something he made, but consider if it is fun for the players. With that insight I changed a few things so now I am happy with what I started.
