Sometimes I wonder why there are so many kinds of gems with so many oddly specific jobs and powers. Seems like a waste of resources to me!

Yup we got gems who can manipulate water and instead of training them for battle, we use them for terraforming. Sapphire has ice but its pointless since her main focus is future vision. Or maybe its cause the diamonds were afraid of gems with elemental powers becoming stronger than them and rebelling 🤔

Jade: Your favorite relationship between two characters

It's a bit hard for me to differentiate favorites because each duo has something I'm a sucker for (it's also very hard for me to pick favorite anything).

Ruby: Is there any symbolism used in your wip?

Yes, a few; and I'm curious which ones the readers will come to notice.

Emerald: Which of your characters is hardest to write?

Deoki and Teht are the hardest. Teht is very unpredictable from a writers standpoint while Deoki's character is hard to express properly, be it through actions or words and I often have to double check so I don't end up accidentally giving a fake image of who they are as a person.

If I had to pick a canon gem type for my sona it'd definitely either be a spinel or more likely a pearl UwU

I chose gerber daisies bc they're my mom's favourite flower, and I went with red since I've always associated her with the color red and pink for myself!
