I imagine Peridot wearing shorts or a romper if she were to have a new form.

This is what I imagine it could look like. She would take lots of inspiration from earth attire, seeing how she grew to care for the place. Shoes that make her stand a bit taller. Shorts that call back to the alien shorts she sported in a previous episode. Peridot was the only kind of gem who had diamond knees in her uniform, but I didn’t want to simply swap it out- can’t copy Amethyst’s knees can we? I just spammed a bunch of stars onto it, you pick which location suits it better. On the other hand it screams “I’m a Crystal Gem now!”

Lapis and Peridot Reforms! I finally got to making these the other day which THANK GOD because it was driving me crazy. Okay so changes:

Peridot lets her hair get messier ((might've made it too messy tho)), and also decides to have a shirt like Steven’s. I figured i bring back that one character trait where she mimics Steven and integrate it into her reform. That was one of my favorite mannerisms of hers. She also gets rid of the diamonds on her knees because ew diamonds.

Lapis, however, i feel like i changed alot more. I decided to do an entire color palette change due to my ((somewhat)) dissatisfaction with her original palette. All the colors in this drawing are directly pulled from a Lapis Lazuli gemstone save the eyes which i decided to keep the same because it was nice. I figured she’d be inspired by the magazines we’ve seen her read, and i feel that the outfit really shows that she’s putting a bit more thought into present herself AS herself. Not to nonchalant, not to proper, just some chill jorts and a flowy top. She also has a star on her chest area, however slightly covered by her arm as a sign that shes not bragging about being a Crystal Gem. Also no shoes because i feel like that’s her thing.
