Decided that a Gun fit Earl too well to not make a proper Gem weapon version of it. I am not a good artist, but I truly did my best.

I tried to make it look cheery, to fit with Earl's personality, and to contrast the rather serious nature of both her past and the Gem weapon. I imagine it firing Lazer shots like Pearl's Spear, though a lot faster and without the charge time.

The reason she might sommon a gun has to do with how Earl seems to think of Gem weapons as a whole. She seems to think of them more as tools for self defense, rather than a form of individuality like Pearl does.

Earl doesn't seem to value freedom as much as Pearl does, but does value it somewhat. What she does actually seem to value is being considered an equal. This seems to be why she puts so much trust in Steven, he didn't treat her like an object. Do to this, I felt that a weapon known as "The Great Equalizer" was particularly fitting (which is why I modeled it after a revolver).

I am not sure if it's a perfect fit, but it does seem to fit her character. She has a sort of cool, bad*** vibe going on that makes it work. Plus, it's another jab at Pearl for saying that "A human firearm is no replacement for a Gem weapon". Considering that Earl was willing to design an entire regeneration just to sass Pearl, I think she'd appreciate it.

Also, Earl does seem to actively like humanity more than other Gems, so human weapon that doesn't really have a Gem equivalent (even their non Gem weapons like the Gem destabilizer and Gem rejuvenator are still melee weapons, and the ranged weapons they do have aren't very gun-like) is pretty fitting for her.
