There was going to be a tournament at the Duel Academy, so of course Johan wouldn't miss this opportunity to see his friends and duel to his heart's content. There was a problem in one of his connections so he ended up arriving too late to get the vessel from Domino City to the island. He knew he could just catch the first one next morning, having to spend a night at an hotel or something like that.
