Gem, being a deer hybrid, sheds velvet around the time of the season. This makes her antlers sharp and strong, in the sense of attracting a mate. Only alphas are able to shed velvet, which came as a surprise to everyone who thought she wasn’t. But no, she’s an alpha, one who will headbutt you if you get too close to her. Doc is an omega, an omega with goat horns, who’s taken a liking to Gem’s majestic antlers. (If you’re curious about deer shedding velvet look it up, tw blood.)

Gem frequently jokes that her eyes are down here, thank you very much!

Doc once completely shattered a flower vase when hiding it because he was gripping it too hard. He didn’t realize how hard he was clutching it because he was too busy staring at the shopkeeper, Gemini.

ive been thinking so much about gemdoc. ive noticed throughout the season doc has been surprisingly kind and gentle to her. maybe even our big, mad scientist cyborg cant deny the flowery, lovely gal.

Doc’s one weakness. Is Ren just as bad? Absolutely. But he’s still gonna make fun of Doc for barely having the brains to say a single word to Gem and then rambling about her all day to him.
