Weekly Theme : Love Language

Premise : Polyhermits, Gem and Pearl introduce them to Love Languages. Xisuma Edition!

Xisuma and took the love languages thing very literally.

Xisuma was racking his brain for any languages that love was. He knew that French, Spanish, Italian and plenty of others were romance languages.

But he’d never heard of Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch, Quality Time, Gifts and, Acts of Service being core components of them! Fascinating!

So if he went around complimenting the Hermits in Spanish, Kissing them on both cheeks, spending time with them while blurting out the occasional Italian sentence.

Gem, Pearl and Cleo would smile and think, “he’s confused but he’s got the spirit” and indulge in being romantic and sappy with him for as long as they can.

None of them want to correct Xisuma when he's this cute doing it. He's so enthusiastic and proud everytime he comes up with something new!

Cleo even decides to learn some of the languages herself so she can reply to him. It turns out, getting dirtier and dirtier whilst the other hermits don't understand is a lot of fun. And with the double kisses it means his helmet is off more often too - perfect to see him blush.

So, yes. The misunderstanding is beneficial to all of them. If one of the Hermits tell him, they're going to have a lot to answer for.

During X and Cleo’s pirate adventures, Cleo learned about Xisuma’s intense fear of lightening. Xisuma tried to explain what happened during season 8. Reasonably, Cleo now wants to beat up Ex. - 🎶📂 anon

They'd all seen some changes in Xisuma after Season Eight. Understandably so, a lot of them came out of that situation shaky. But the show must go on, and it didn't take long for X to throw himself into preparations for the next season, and any strangeness slowly got forgotten.

It isn't until they ended up in this strange new world that Cleo even realised they haven't seen much of X in Season Nine. It's not like he was avoiding the hermits, but he kept a bit of distance, always an arm's length away. In fact, it only really occurs to her when that first strike of lightning hits over the trees, and X flinches back as if he'd been struck. They found shelter underground for the night, Cleo wrapping herself around X, letting him hide in her. He doesn't move until the storm has long past.

The next day he tells her what happened that season, apologising throughout as if he's obliged to tell her exactly why he reacted that way in recompense for the disruption. Cleo, firstly, informs him he didn't need to tell them any of that. Then, they take it upon themself to talk to Joey, who directs her to fWhip as the admin of the server. He agrees to turn off the storm summoning campfire at spawn for the duration of their visit.

Xisuma still acts like nothing at all happened to him. He's laughing, getting more involved in the hermits' activities and building farms. But Cleo can't help her lingering looks, having got a glimpse at what's hiding under that.
