PLAYFUL GRIN FINDS ITS WAY to blue features, the diamond’s irritation only making him laugh. “C’mon, Pink ! I'm jus’ jokin’.” Arm wraps around her, pulling her closer, & Yondu’s cocky attitude is prevalent. “There ain’t nothin’ worth more ‘n th’ time I get t’ spend wit’chu.” A LIE, but a flattering one nonetheless. While Yondu enjoys Pink’s company & very much cares for her, he is, at heart, a Ravager. & that means his one true love is money. “But seriously, though . . . how much ?”

Colonizing Space

Pink Diamond spent a lot of her creative energy thinking of ways to stand out from her sisters. All of them had some sort of specialty. White had deep space exploration, Yellow had high scale technology, Blue had social structures and order...

She was even given a specific problem to solve, which was how to spread their influence across space. She was... Still working on that.

The young Diamond had just selected one of her Rose Quartzes to confine in. They weren’t as secure as Pearls, of course, but she had programmed the line of gems just for taking care of organic life. It was like looking back at her notes, right?

She had sent her Pearl to go fetch the particular Quartz from her job on the human settlement, as she had given her specific missions to fulfill . This day, it was with reclaiming broken gems-

“Did you manage to reclaim Zircon 24-delta-1?” not even looking up from her study. Ontop of her flagship duties, White was sending her things to look at, almost daily.

The war aftermath

“Well. That’s the last of the shards.” Pearl murmured, her eyes flickering from the bubble, towards Rose, then back to the bubble. “From here at least. Would you like to double check, Rose?” After the war wasn’t much easier. Bubbling their friends, seeing their shards, their corrupted forms. It was exhausting both physically and mentally. It was rough. Something no gem should have to go through. But, Pearl stuck it out by Rose’s side. She could handle it, as long as Rose was there. As long as they were alive. And they had won. 

“Or...perhaps we could take a break?” She suggested, knowing that was unlikely. With corrupted gems on the loose, they had a lot of work to do. It seemed there was a never ending list of places to go, shards to collect, gems to bubble.

“Well, even if it doesn’t, I’ve already named it. Horatio.”

Greg just was being silly. There was no reason to not eat the egg. However, he was a dad. Dads were allowed to have some silly moments, weren’t they? As for the backstory...

“He’s a world traveler. And he sought the golden yarn so he could achieve fame and fortune,” he said in his most dramatic, yet somehow silly, voice. This was fun, he thought. Sooner or later, though, they’d have to just drop the game and go on with the activity of cooking.
