When he was listing people he wanted to hang out with, he said he was gonna go down the list of evicted houseguests, so I wouldn’t take him not saying Steve’s name as anything personal.

This! People are acting like Steve should have been the first person he mentioned when really he just ran out of time. Then when Jeff said something along the lines of you guys all get along and you’ll all see each other, he said yeah, and then the twins, not so much. 

I don’t get how people take that as him saying he’s not going to hang out with Steve after this....
