Day 4: Crystal Idol

Of course Lilac’s favorite Crystal Gem would be Pearl lol. What a strong Gem! A strong Pearl! She’s probably some sort of role model for Lilac.

Also I think this is the first time I’ve officially drawn a canon SU character.

30-Day Gemsona Challenge!

So since a lot of people liked doing the gem challenge I did like two years ago (which was when I was doing tons of gemstones), I’ve decided to create another. I hope to see some new and interesting gems! And feel free to tag me when you do a gem for it! I’d love to see!

Day 1. Create a gem from something organic. Such as Amber, abalone, etc.

Day 2. Create a gem from an element. Bonus points if you do one that has no crystalline structure, such as a gas or liquid element.

Day 3. Create a corrupted gem, and/or healed form.

Day 4. Draw a gem of the first gemstone you think of.

Day 5. Make a gem out of something not used as a gem like Gravel or Granite.

Day 6. Draw a permafusion.

Day 7. Draw their components

Day 8. Create a hybrid. What’s their name?

Day 9. Make a themed gem. What’s their theme? Fruit? Flowers?

Day 10. Draw a forced fusion.

Day 11. Make a singular gem with a unique body type. Two heads, torsos, extra arms, etc.

Day 12. Create a synthetic gem. Examples could be cubic zirconia, helenite, alexite, or moissanite.

Day 13. Draw a gem based on an obscure mineral.

Day 14. What about an aristocratic gem?

Day 15. What about yourself as a gem?

Day 16. Maybe a glass gem? Desert glass? Blueberry quartz? Dragons breath opal? Maybe even Stained Glass?

Day 17. Draw a singular version of a fusion. It could even be the one you drew for the challenge.

Day 18. How about a defective gem.

Day 19. Maybe a perfect version of that gem, or at least a standard version.

Day 20. What about a diamond? Is she kind and loving like pink? Harsh like yellow? Or maybe something completely different.

Day 21. Draw your birthstone as a gem, even if it’s already canon.

Day 22. Maybe the gem who created your synthetic gem. Who is she?

Day 23. Draw a male gem. What are their roles on homeworld?

Day 24. Draw a cat’s eye or star gem. (An interesting one to do would be Gold Sheen Sapphire)

Day 25. Draw a large, monstrous fusion that only appears during battles. Or maybe a gem similar to Fluorite, if you’d like to take that route.

Day 26. Create a pearl for your aristocratic gem or your new diamond.

Day 27. Draw a gem based on an animal.

Day 28. Draw a gem during the war, and what they currently look like after a new regeneration. What side are they on?

Day 29. Draw an Aura Quartz. Are they a warrior, or are they not suited for battle?

Day 30. Draw a geode. It can be any gem that can form in a geode. Amethyst, Agate, crystal quartz, chrysocolla, etc.

Mimetite, a gem sent out to help look for colonies and help gather information. They’re disposable so when the resource crisis kicked in, they were used more.
