During the Yule-to-Christmas week, I worked on this wooden box, which depits the kingly/queenly Spirit Of Malachite, one of my favourite gemstones. This is a portrait of a specific specimen, done exactly as I would do a person's portrait. It will be perfect for storing talismans and special pieces in my magical collections. It took many hours, but I am just delighted with the result. Happy Sunday!
The Bloodstone
Bloodstone are being said to be hard to find. Only found where blood was spilled for a certain amount, like battlefields and such. They say to be a great magical source for those who knows how to use it. A simple drop of blood can recharge them.
Sadly, many fraud easily sell fake bloodstones using rubies for their likeness. A good way to differencies them, is by looking at the gem with a light. It is said to have some sort of particles floating inside.
