Dr. Stone Tickle Headcanons Part #1
This will be part 1 of my Dr. Stone tickle headcanons. I intend to write for most characters in the show, so I'll have to split this into parts to keep things neat. Senku:
Ticklish AF next question
I just cannot imagine a world where he's not secretly super ticklish but few are brave enough to find out.
Gen was the first to notice. Since he's always close to Senku's side, he was bound to find out eventually.
It all started with a gentle prod to Senku's side while he was teasing the scientist.
Gen couldn't have imagined such a cartoonish reaction from their beloved leader.
"Senku, what... Oh. No way!"
Meanwhile Senku is acting like he didn't just jump a foot in the air with a squeak.
His worst spots include his ribs, behind the knees, feet, and strangely his palms.
He's also REALLY bad at suppressing his laughter. That said, you know you've got him where you want him when he starts laughing like a supervillain.
Gen is probably the worst person to discover this because he's not afraid of messing with Senku and the poor scientist will not catch a break from here on out.
Overworking himself? Tickles. Late night sulking? Tickles. Educating the kingdom? Still not exempt from getting tickled in front of everyone.
The entire village is shocked that the mentalist can reduce Senku to a fit of uncharacteristic giggles so easily.
So of course others have to try it out too.
Ginro will try to use tickles to persuade Senku to make him things.
Kinro puts a stop to it pretty quickly, dragging his brother away.
Kohaku likes to give him a couple scribbles on the ribs when she's feeling playful.
Taiju and Yuzuriha were the only people in the past other than his father who knew just how ticklish he is.
A favorite pastime of Taiju is wrapping Senku up in a near crushing hug, and tickling the snot outta him when he's grumpy.
Seeing the playful energy between the two, Yuzuriha can't help but get in a few tickles before turning around and targeting Taiju who will drop poor Senku with a squeal.
Of course, Byakuya loved to reduce the stoic boy to a squirming pile of giggles. Coming home from a hard day at work, he would come check in on Senku to see what the little genius was up to, and what better way to get him to take a break than playing tickle monster?
Embarrassing as it was, Senku usually let it slide because of how happy it made Byakuya. Some days, he would say he even missed the goofy tickle attacks.
Now, we all know Senku is NOT a fighter.
Not even if his life depended on it (which obviously it has).
So for something as low stakes as a tickle fight, you would think he'd not fight back too much.
You would be wrong.
He may not always return the favor immediately, but if he does, expect him to prod at his attacker's sensitive points with the precision of someone who has studied the human body and it's weakest points.
It's best you run if things get to that point because he will NOT hold back. You're getting tickled to death. :)
Or he'll decide to act like he let you get away with it, and save his revenge for another time. He will not forget and he WILL get you good.
Stuck trying to power a machine? You're getting tickled while doing it and you BETTER keep working while it's happening.
A scientific demonstration? You're the subject and everyone's gonna see it.
To most, this is just convincing enough to make them avoid tickling Senku (at least not too often) since revenge WILL be imminent.
Not very teasy, but will say obvious observations about your reactions and pick apart every one.
"So you're one of the people who snorts huh? Lemme tell you why-" WHILST TICKLING HIS TARGET TO BITS
He mentally takes notes of every spot and what reactions come from them and files them away in his brain to save for later.
Gen:
Possibly the most ticklish person in the whole kingdom you can pry this theory from my cold dead hands. ❤️
Honestly WAY too ticklish to be as much of a menace as he is (he brings it upon himself 90% of the time)
Somehow the Kingdom of Science's worst tickle monster but also the most helplessly ticklish goober.
His layers only provide him so much protection (better than nothing, but definitely not the best shield as the fibers of his clothes are so thin).
For a mentalist that's so good at keeping his emotions under a brave mask, he often has a hard time fully hiding the panic that comes from the anticipation of an oncoming tickle attack
His best spots include his underarms, waist, stomach, and neck.
Gen is very protective of his neck because it's definitely his worst spot and if too many people found out, the poor guy would be done for. Tickled to death guaranteed.
That said, it's hard to actually find a spot on his body that isn't ticklish.
Senku was the first one to find out how ticklish he was, much to the scientist's delight.
From then on, slowly but surely, the entirety of Ishigami village found out after Gen was annoying them a little too much.
Turns out tickling the mentalist to tears is a great way to bring him down a peg or two.
It doesn't last very long, and he's back to being a menace before you know it
But that's just a good excuse to wreck his shit again.
He has a very bubbly laugh that puts a smile on his attacker's face immediately.
He's a squirmy worm and an escape artist, so you could pin him down, but there's a 50% chance he'll wiggle free or roll away.
He's also very fast, and if he suspects he's about to be tickled, he may run and it will take some serious stamina to catch up to him.
Gen CANNOT take teases. Something about them makes him feel even more sensitive to touch.
He's very shy about how ticklish he is because it's so extreme.
Though he would never admit it out loud, he actually doesn't mind being tickled at all. Dare I say he even enjoys it.
He doesn't get very many chances to laugh in such a carefree way, and being able to just feels nice.
With specific people (Senku, Ryusui, Chrome), he'll pester and tease them until his ass gets got (and they'll humor him because at least it's guaranteed to be funny).
On the other hand, he's definitely the most likely out of everyone to start all out tickle wars. He just can't help himself!
Will often take the opportunity to poke an exposed vulnerable spot when he catches someone stretching.
If you tickle him, you better be careful because he often tries to turn the tables on his tickler.
Due to his sleight of hand skills, he has very flexible and nimble fingers, so it's safe to assume getting tickled by him will be kinda deadly.
He's usually rather silly, and will emphasize every movement he makes for peak theatricality. He is an entertainer after all.
He plays a MEAN rib piano.
The teasiest bastard alive (he can dish it out but can't take it).
Is not above playing dumb to make teasing his poor target even more effective.
"Say what? I'm so sorry, I can't understand you through all that laughter! Go on, try again!~"
Takes great pleasure in even making the most serious members of the Kingdom crumble.
The king of cheer up tickles actually.
Had a bad day? Not feeling very confident? Need a distraction? Just tell him, and he'll be more than happy to help with some playful but gentle tickles while also providing reassurance.
He knows the value of a good laugh afterall.
His trickster persona is ever present but secretly he's pretty damn wholesome.
