not somethign I usually do, but GenCon is this weekend and I want let you all know where to find me! It's a huge venue so it's easy to get lost! I'll be at table 558! It's towards the back past the arcane wonders booth!
I will be doing on-site commissions with a limited slot, so if you want to get something custom at the con DM me now so you can beat the line!
Very successful first GenCon in the books! Tons of work but so so rewarding!

Gen Con haul (includes VIG freebies and the results of some giving away because I had too many Shadowrun puzzles, among other things Andrew and Lex claimed for themselves).
1,027 miles round-trip, with multiple stops and at least three of them well off the highway. 45.2mpg. did not track previous GenCon in this detail and wish I had.
An hour and twenty minutes early for our reservations at Cloak & Dagger (vegan cocktail bar), but we got better seats as a result. The caprese cocktail tasted like a caprese salad and was weird/tasty as a result. The fried fake-chicken (seitan) & waffles were good, as was the smoky cauliflower steak and samosas. However, the strawberry basil cake was too dense and the not-buttercream frosting had a weird mouth feel. We also got a green tea melon rum punch tasting (good but too sweet).
The post-GenCon Lincoln Square Pancake House hangover cure / pre-road-trip breakfast was a bit of a bust this year. Tasty as hell, but with only two of us it simply was not the same.
The line for Sunday will call was twice the length of the building (it wrapped). The line for Lorca (the new Disney game) again snaked the depth of the building twice over (which is weird since the GenCon exclusive card was at the booth yet people opted to get in line every night at 6:30pm for 10am access the next morning).
The dealer room was packed with kids, though most were too short to take a backpack to the face, there were also too many strollers. But there was a signature booth for post breakfast Hickman.
Dorfromantik now comes in tabletop. Catalyst ate too much of my money again. Elderwood Academy has the player journals in stock, even though my Kickstarted journal appeared while I was at GenCon. Balloons.
