Wore my old cosplay elf ears a few weeks ago to pride and they were so gender affirming. I had never really considered the more fantastical things that I enjoy drawing on myself as something I could be wearing and putting out there in the world! Had a wonderful conversation with some people about them too! Plus kids love to see whimsical adults. At least I did! New goal to be the whimsy I want in the world!
People do not have to prove their gender identity to you by doing things that make them feel insecure about it.
People do not have to do things that feel less feminine or less masculine to them to prove to you that they aren’t insecure about their gender identity.
No, that man does not need to wear that dress if he doesn’t want to and it makes him feel uncomfortable and not wanting to doesn’t mean he has ‘fragile/weak masculinity.’

i just got a spoon ring!!! even though my fingers are short and stubby, i feel very validated with a thick ring on my finger
I just had a customer use my pronouns pin as a teachable moment for her kid who had just addressed me as "sir". It felt surprisingly validating.
She also left a 15% tip on a $200 purchase so that felt validating in another way lol.
