and... I ran out of space in the ask? Why can't you write a "real" response? Was my message not real enough? I wasn't ever attempting to be an authority on academic rigor. Decolonizing/dismantling structures of authority, including patriarchy/kyriarchy, etc. is a messy process, but I am constantly trying to engage with it, with the means that I have. It's a struggle we're all caught in... is this something you can relate to?

Your points were well taken. All I could really vouch for in the beginning was TE's attempts to foster connection rather than disconnection, because I know them personally. I know, I know, that's not enough, and I'm not saying good intentions should be a basis for any methodology. I did not know of any details about the project, the abstract, the methodology, any of that at that time. It does appear to me, after seeing more unfold, that the proposed research is problematic...
