AU where Tony runs "Stark Gyms" a multi million dollar gym chain where all the celebrities go for training. Natasha is Bucky's personal trainer and Bucky is the hottest genderqueer model in the industry at the moment and every time they come into the gym Steve (another personal trainer) struggles to keep his jaw shut and Tasha is super smug about it and constantly trying to hook them up
Steve has flat out refused to date since he’s been working there with no further explanations. Nat tries not to push because they may be friends but his personal life is still none of her business but she can’t help it when he’s so obviously smitten. At first Nat thinks it’s because he’s not good looking enough for Bucky but then they’re out for drinks after work and Steve, a little tipsier than he normally lets himself get says he doesn’t really DO sex. He will if it’s a thing for his partner but it’s not a thing he wants. Nat just sort of throws her hands up and tells him to at least try because he’s obviously been crushing on Bucky and he might get turned down yeah but still it’s worth a shot
Sam bringing his boyfriend and his datemate to a family reunion. Sam introduces Genderqueer!Bucky to his nieces and nephews and younger cousins and they ask them if they're a boy or a girl and Bucky squats down to their level and says "Well, I'm a little bit of both. But most importantly I'm a superhero, just like your uncle Sam." All the kids nod except one niece who goes up to them and looks up at them, squinting and asks "Then what color is your bike!?"
And Bucky is so thrown for a second and genuinely has to think about it. “Sometimes I borrow Steve’s bike and it’s black and silver.” And the little girl frowns. “I’ll get you some stickers so you can make it pretty.”
So I have a headcanon that Bruce is a vegan and today I was thinking about post WS Bucky living in the tower with everyone (happily pansexual, panromantic and non-binary) making the choice to be vegan because they feel they've already taken so many lives, they want to avoid taking more
I had to stop and bask in this headcanon before I responded to it.
Vegan Bucky is so important to me. It's the first time they've really had a choice in what they've eaten. First it was what their mom would cook, then what Steve could eat, then the military and HYDRA. The doesn't want to cause any more harm than they has to, and there's so many more options now.
Bruce teaches them how to be an ethical vegan and Bucky gets super tight with a lot of the people at their farmer's market. They're also super grateful to be in New York where there's actually vegan markets and they figures out how to make their mom's stew without chicken stock and gets Steve addicted to mac n'cheese without the actual cheese. They also has a lot of fun making desserts with Bruce and forcing the rest of the team to eat them.
Bucky designing a matching dress and suit for each occasion because he's not sure which one he'll feel like wearing on the night of.
