hi guys! it's that time of year where shan tries to write a story, and this year, i want to add in a couple of trans and/or gender neutral characters, but i am woefully naive about most of the struggles and the processes surrounding transitioning from FTM or MTF, so if any could give me any help, so i can write an accurate portrayal of a trans teen (hopefully a gender neutral character too) that'd be great

Today I told Justin that I didn’t identify as a man or a woman. I identify as a woman some days and a man on others. I was afraid to tell him because I was scared of how he would react. This is what he said:

Me: “it really doesn’t bother you?” Justin: “no.” Me: “but it means that you don’t always have a ‘girlfriend’ and that has to bother you.” Justin: “it obviously isn’t new so it doesn’t change anything.”

And that is why I fell for him. He accepted me as I am. I wonder If he will refere to me as his boyfriend on days that I identify as a man. But I love him and he means a lot to me, especially for things like this.
