🌸☀️Sun Rejuvenation Spell ☀️🌸
Rise like the sun
Materials needed!
Crystal: citrine, sunstone, golden calcite, tiger’s eye, clear quartz
Flame: match or candle
Location: A quiet place in the sun, inside or outside is fine.
Spellwork!
- Take your crystal and let it soak up some wonderful sunshine (not for too long because it could fade! Use your crystals responsibly!)
- Light your candle and place the charged crystal near it. If you’re using a match hold the crystal in your other hand and gaze at the flame.
- Chant, mentally or out loud:
“I am awake,
I am refreshed,
I am whole,
I shine bright,
I am the light.”
- Feel recharged and refreshed for the day!

💥 Solar Noon Power Spell 💥
When it’s time to capture your might...
The sun is extremely powerful; the most powerful source of energy we know on this earth. It is also at its most powerful during the solar noon. This is the time when things get serious. This spell is good for an energy boost, and it compliments well with other spells as a power source for them.
Materials!
- A match
- An object you will use to capture the power: Stones like citrine, golden calcite, and clear quartz work well, or a sigil or object you associate with power.
- Location: Solar noon time (12-2 p.m.), preferably outside in full sun, but inside near a sunny window is fine.
Spellwork!
- Light the match, hold it in the sunlight.
- Pick up your stone/object that’s going to absorb the power with your other hand.
- Think or chant out loud,
Power above me in flames,
She that shines down with light,
Let me take a piece of your fire,
Let me borrow your might.
- Take comfort in the fact that you’ve captured a tiny part of the most dynamic force in our universe, and use it to power your other spells!
*Your object you used to absorb the power should keep its charge for a few weeks before it dissipates.

Update And The Summer Solstice
I know I’ve been rather quiet with posts as of late, especially since the Summer Solstice is right around the corner. This doesn’t mean I’ve been quiet with my craft though!
I’ve been working on creating my own rune set based not on symbols, but on different types of stones I’ve collected, and Solstice preparations, which for me are pretty intense and secretive. I will say that it includes blood and fire.
The Solstice is my most powerful day, and therefore my most powerful rituals are preformed on it.
I will say as a disclaimer that the sun’s energy is not to be messed with half-heartedly on the Solstice. It’s intense and extremely powerful and it takes a large amount of willpower to direct it. Any rituals or spells would be safer if you added an extra clause that protects you from its negative side.
That being said, it’s not all seriousness either! It’s very much a happy time and a celebration. The sun is here, and she comes with open arms on this day.

A rather rough picture of one of the incomplete pages for my grimoire! I love how it’s turning out! ✨☀️✨
🌟So, what happens to a Sun Witch at night?🌟
I’ve gotten this question before, from other witches and myself: what do you do when your main power source sets for the night?
Nighttime is for shadows, things that are fundamentally different from who I am. The moon is my friend but also not my patron, so what’s there for me to draw strength from?
Well, like most things, it’s complicated. Every witch is an individual, and every sun witch will cope with the disappearance of the sun in a different way. Some will charge sigils or crystals during the day and use that as a back up until the sun rises.
Personally, I transfer my energy from the sun to the stars. All energies have at least some form of duality in their nature, sometimes many more facets than just duality.
The sun is no different, and for me, the star girl comes to life at night.
The stars are her cold light from eons away. I can feel weaker, true, but I accept that darkness is a welcome part of our being, and necessary for us to rest. I feel like some separation from the sun mother is good for me to recharge.
The stars are a much more gentle energy, cool and refreshing. I shine with a colder, white light, and I am much less grounded mentally. This is the time to think about the vastness of the universe beyond us, perhaps about how small we are, also shining like stars in the dark with our different energies.
The only time I am uncomfortable at night is when clouds cover the moon and stars. When I look up a see nothing but a black void bearing down on me. I become uncomfortable with no lights in the darkness.
I’d love to hear from other sun witches about what they do at night! Do you transfer your power to the moon? Do you just wait it out? Or don’t even think about it at all? I’m curious!

✨☀️Sun Witch’s Prayer ☀️✨
In the morning sun I awake, for another night has passed.
Like the great fire in my veins, the sky shines down,
Until darkness falls again, but now my mother is here,
Such strength she will give to alleviate my fears
Hi! I’ve just recently joined the witchblr community and the witch community in general. Honestly this is the first time I’m reaching out to a witch online so sorry if this ask is annoying 😅 I really like your page though and was wondering if you could tell me about sun Magick in general? What does it embody/mean to you? I think I want to start practicing but felt encouraged to ask someone about it first. -Thanks, Trevor
Hey there!
Welcome to witchblr! As a disclaimer, every sun witch interprets the sun and sun magick differently. For myself, sun magick is hands down the most powerful magick you can use. That makes it difficult to control, and it can be detrimental if you’re not careful. It also has a lot of duality in it, being both a thing that banishes negativity and brings light and life, and something uncontrollable and destructive. I honestly feel like to be a sun witch you have to balance out these sides, and it can be a very fine line to walk. You can lean more one way than another, but you really can’t separate the two.
The sun mother is my mother. She goes by many names and has many forms. She is the embodiment of light and energy, and created the infinite stars and galaxies. She is the most powerful celestial being in all of existence, one that demands respect.
I hope this helps!
