Hello! I'm going to the Orlando Con in September by myself. It's my first con ever and I have two questions. One, are you allowed to bring your own food and water or are they strict about that? And two, do they have a place to keep your bag when you're getting photos done? I won't have anyone with me to hold my stuff. Thanks!

You can most certainly bring your own food and water and I very much recommend you do. Because it will save you a lot of money.

There is a table in the photo room where you place your bag. Once you're in the room, pop your bag on the table and then rejoin the queue - in the same spot as you were. Then on the way out, you grab your bag. It's right in the middle of the room, so you won't miss it.

Have fun! I have tickets for Orlando, but sadly I'm stuck in Australia with closed borders!

Hey :) first of all THANK YOU for the blog. It helped me a lot already!! What I still want to know is, if you would recommend doing everthing within one con. My problem is I don't live in the US and want to go to one con there. I'm not sure if I ever have the chance to do it again. So would you recommend that I spend a litlle bit more money for that con, so that I can do anything I want there, or would it be to overwelming/stressful?

I'd say do all the things that you want to do. I did that in my early cons. It's pretty well scheduled and structured, with plenty of people to give you help if you're not sure what's going on at any time. Some times there are clashes, but you should be able to navigate that via the supplied schedule, and Creation also help out with those things or if you're a bit lost.

If you splurged and did VIP, then you have someone looking after the VIP group and that helps you know where you should be and when, but even if you just got GA tickets for all days, I'm sure you'd be able to work it out.

So if you've just doing one con, figure out what the things are that are an absolute must and try to do them.

I will say this though - I also said I was only do one US con, and ten years later and twenty-one Creations cons on (and multiple Aussie ones)...ah...yup.

i got around 2 blocking zpecific tagz that make me uncomfy, like the "big 3 paraphiliaz" (the kidz, dogz and corpzez zhould NOT get that D:), i zuggezt if therez zpecific content which makez u uncomfy or upzet 2 block that tag, don't zend loadz of hate, lol, only makez it appear more!!

If I recall, one of your reason for starting this blog was to help people with low energy/low resources to eat healthy and such. A little tip I've worked out for myself that helps when I need to do dishes (by hand because no dishwasher) is that I will run hot/warm water in the sink with some dish soap and let it soak overnight or during the day or what not. because it can make washing a lot easier. Just a little tip that I hope helps someone
