My parents are the same. It makes me so damn mad. It's so obvious what's going on, yet they wanna deny it/the importance of it. I have a degree in sociology - but my dad acts like I don't know anything when I talk about the rampant racism in the US.
It's truly sickening. I'm sorry you're in the same boat as well. Especially sine the only time my mom has seen anything about it was on one or two separate station. And it kills me how people can be so blind that the media is biased

also, i have written several papers for college about LGBTQA issues, and even one about how i figured out I was bi (that one was for a sociology class about sexuality, i must admit) and none of my professors ever cared.
that's always good
yeah i'm just gonna write about it
it's mostly my own issues i'm used to having to hide that part about me you know?? so like i try not to write about it much but i can write about whatever the fuck the prof can't judge my grade based on their own beliefs at least they shouldnt

I think it’d be okay? Professors love when students get all deep and personal right?
yeah that's true idk idk i just always feel weird when i do that?? but i'm weird so that makes sense doesn't it. i should just get over it and use that as my topic cause i don't have anything better to talk about in my paper any way

that sounds like a really great topic, if anything fits the prompt, that does. don't be afraid to bring it up (unless it might endanger you somehow, of course). If it's a good college/prof they won't have a negative reaction.
that's true. i think in the back of my mind i'm like always worried i'm gonna get a bad grade on something because i open up about myself and my prof is against it but that's dumb because they shouldn't grade things like that and i know that i'm just used to not talking about my own personal things in essays, you know?

first base is like kissing, second is like feeling someone up, third base is anything other than full on intercourse, and fourth base is sex. As person born and raised in the US, I have never actually heard anyone use the term fourth base, however.

I’m assuming you mean the four f’s then. First is french, like a french kiss. Second is feel, like an intimate kind of touch between them. Third is finger, as in insert the finger in the intimate place. And home base, well that is fucking.
*shrugs*
Alright... Thanks, you guys :)<33
