Have you ever had a problem with your snakes peeing when picked up?

Sometimes when snakes are stressed, they’ll secrete a foul-smelling liquid from their vents as a means of repelling predators.

My corn snake Sega used to be really awful with musking, but with a low stress environment and continued handling she’s come to recognize that we’re not a threat and has “grown out of it”.

Dear Aimee,

You are by far one of the kindest, smartest, most beautiful individuals I have ever met in my life. You cheer me up when I'm sad, pick me up when i'm down, and are like an odd mixture of mother, best friend, and dog sitter. I really honestly don't know what I would do without you, or where I would be and I really want you to know that. You're one of the best people I've met in my life, and I'm really happy you're going to be my roommate.
