2013

So What Is Next?…

I intentionally took a month off from blogging. Not just to give myself free time but to also focus on other things and to not worry about taking pictures everyday or posting online.

It might not sound that hard, especially with smart phones nowadays, but doing something like Project 365(6) is a HUGE undertaking. Don't get me wrong I LOVED doing it - I wouldn't have devoted the time out of my day if it wasn't something I cared about doing. However, it just took a lot of time to accomplish.

It is very cool though to look back on your year and see it though pictures. I can look back at one picture and remember what I did that day, who was with me, and how I felt...

I did this project (for a second time) because I know the more I get older, maybe someday have kids and be a little more stressed out, I'll be able to look back at some of the crazy times I had with my family and friends and just remember; life isn't all that bad. I've had some amazing experiences....

2012 was one of the best years of my life but also one of the hardest.

On one hand I accomplished some huge goals on my bucket list (Half-Marathon, Skydiving, Tough Mudder, Training for a Marathon) but on the other hand, my family and I were devastated by the loss of my Grandpa.

It was one of the hardest days of my life when he passed away...

I know I'm not a negative person. I like to try and see the good in every situation, person, or experience. So I know that even though that experience was one the lowest of my life, it isn't everything that my 2012 was about.

I've had some amazing experiences last year and I was fortunate enough to share them with a lot of different people. I got to share a lot of experiences with close family and friends but also I was able to share a few moments with friends and family whom I don't see too often.

Those memories with close family and friends, and maybe even more with relatives I don't see too often, are experiences I am very lucky to have...

If we don't live for experiences that make us happy then what are we living for?....Just to survive?

Back to the question I asked myself in the beginning of writing this post, "So What Is Next?..."

For me it's not doing project 365 this year. I wish I could but I know, and want, to take a break.

I won't be blogging as often but I'll still be putting things on my website. It'll be hard not wanting to.

I'll be posting again like how I was pre-2012.

Even though I don't want to put a "picture-a-day" up online, I still do want to post about my life and things going on around it. So my next goal is to catch up from this month and put a couple huge events down that happened in January. Hope to be caught up by the end of this weekend.

Not Project 365.

But still a window into my life and the world around me.
