I wish the Sims 4 had a funeral event. One of my favourite legacy heirs died this morning after living a beautiful life and like, yeah, I could throw a party while everyone is still sad and pretend but I wish there was a formal celebration of his accomplishments and impact.

Also no one in my real life understands what parts of the game actually present challenge so I'm going on about how cool it is that on Short Lifespan he: maxed his career, completed his aspiration, raised two successful kids - one of whom graduated university, and got to meet three of his grandchildren all while maintaining solid relationships with extended family and keeping up multiple hobbies. And my friends are like "sure, Jake your pixel ppl sound very impressive". Not unkindly, just without any investment.

Alas, at least his son took up photography so I'll have more pictures of my next generation.
