I've thought of like a whole buncha scenerios for them and there's only like 3 other people who care about this ship or even just this duo
I absolutely adore how Rico draws player in the concept art, they're such a critter
i also love how smug they look in some of the badges
I turned them into an actual avatar that I will never be able to wear outside of catalog avatar creator
Player revival mechanic headcanons - !!
I imagine that the way reviving works is that if they have a resurrect card, it automatically closes up the most lethal wound, but they have to do the rest themself
if they revive via medkit, it isn't so much a revival as it is a last minute self heal
and lastly, if they die mid-battle, time rewinds itself to right before the fight and gives them time to adjust their load out before retrying. (they basically enter a limbo state until they're prepared again.) only them and other characters who are already dead (like cruel/black rock king, and maybe trotter if he gets a call card next demo like what's been hinted) can remember their deaths, which made it QUITE the experience for the king when he killed them only to see them alive again a few minutes later
so basically they can't die until the narrative lets them
obviously they're quite tired of this, but at least there's a peaceful limbo waiting for them anytime they decide to get themself killed!
