I just have to take a moment and point out the absolute highlight of this convention. Just yesterday I was talking with my girlfriend about how much I love to see cosplays of original characters and how it’s something I’d love to maybe see one day in the future with one of my own characters. But that I doubted would ever happen. Well let’s just say I almost started crying today. Someone decided to show up in a cosplay of Sophie from the children’s book I created and even brought along her copy that she bought last year. I probably made a complete fool of myself but I honestly didn’t know how to react to something that I thought would be years away- if it ever happened at all. But it happened today and I am dying! Thank you again Ashley for this moment and I love you to bits for it! Today’s a day I will never forget! ✨💕💖✨
