Gene Vincent live in England in 1970. I saw this clip on a dodgy VHS about a teddy boy weekend in the 70’s when I was about 8 years old, and it always stuck with me. God bless the internet for helping me find things like this. #genevincent

“We were in Hamburg with Gene Vincent and [later] Little Richard and there’s still many a story going round about the escapades, especially with Gene Vincent, who was a rather wild guy. We met Gene backstage. ‘Backstage’ - I mean, it was a ‘toilet’ and we were thrilled.”
