Thoughts on Kozo x Gendo?

Dear God, so much good sexy angst potential.

Not my primary ship for either of them but I do really enjoy it, because those two old fuckers basically have nobody but one another, and whether they like it or not Fuyutsuki is one of the few people Gendo can actually call a friend, at the very least.

And honestly? I sincerely do think Fuyutsuki comes to canonically love Gendo as a person, at the very least in a Platonic sense. Yes, his final vision is of Yui, the love of his life, but his final words are for Gendo. He comes to care about that giant infant, he truly does, and I mean it when I say it's really beautiful, if deeply sad, because there's the strong implication that Fuyutsuki is the only person in the world who truly understands (or comes close to understanding) the depth of Gendo's grief. They're linked by that shared grief and it actually makes me tear up just thinking about it.

But on the other hand if you want to write/draw two sad old men fucking the ever loving shit out of one another, I 100% also support that venture and will probably enjoy looking at/reading it.
