This one was a lot of fun to do, in my personal opinion. My next original character, a four-eyed demon by the name of Roargum (Middle), was originally supposed to be given a character design with light blue flesh and purple spots (Bottom left), but then I realized he would like a re-molded Sulley from Monsters Inc (2001, top left). After I redesigned him to have a purple body and dark blue spots, he looked more like a mix between Grimace from the McDonald’s commercials (Top right), Beast from the early 2000′s children’s animated series Maggie and The Ferocious Beast, based on the 1996 book of the same name (Middle right), and Mr. Munch, a staple character found in Chuck E Cheese’s restaurants (Bottom right). Regarding his personality, Roargum can be compared to the character of Bentley the yeti from Spyro: Year of The Dragon (2000, Top middle), both of whom can be considered genius bruisers to some extent. The game makes us aware that Bentley is capable of pronouncing terminology one would not traditional expect from a character with his level of brawn (As one can attest by his quote "avaricious, duplicitous, larcenous ursine,” when he lambastes one of the other characters). For me, he’s one of the more fun characters I can work with by virtue of being that interesting kind of mix.
