Magnetism
Zandarian Hypothesis
Magnetism can be explained with what we like to call the river stone pinwheel analogy. A magnet is to energy fields what a stone is to a river. A galaxy is to energy fields what a pinwheel is to air.
If you place a stone in a river, you will notice a set of resulting events:
1 Water will go around the stone in every direction instead of passing through the stone.
2 The flow of water will speed up to around and over the stone.
3 The flow of water nearest the stone will slow down and spin.
4 Sand will collect at the base of the stone.
With a magnet:
1 Field energy that lacks particular higher structure, or wild fields, will move around the magnet in every direction instead of passing through the magnet, like it does with everything else.
2 The flow of wild fields will speed up to around and over the magnet.
3 The flow of wild fields nearest the magnet will slow down and spin.
4 Magnetic materials will collect at the low point of the magnetic field, or magnetic zone.
If you place a pinwheel in a room with no breeze then move it, you will notice a set of resulting events:
1 The air will move around the material of the pinwheel blades instead of passing directly through.
2 The pinwheel will spin due to the shape of the blades.
With a galaxy:
1 The wild fields will move around the magnetic zones of the stars and planets instead of passing directly through.
2 The galaxy will spin due to the dissipation of the heat and forces caused by the resistance of the magnetic zones to the flow of wild fields around them.
