is it okay to have two best friends ? it’s okay to have two best friends: it’s official now. steve’s got a huge affinity for @geniusfright‘s bad jokes, and they just get along so well ( sometimes. a big sometimes, but anyways ). his other best friend is @nottingale because theo is his dork of a little brother that he has to drag to baseball games and gets to train with. theo’s a super special guy to steve.

how does jace react to people acting kind towards him?

jace is.... automatically suspicious. he generally doesn’t trust anyone, barely trusts the people he considers friends, and any unwarranted kindness automatically makes him wonder what’s really going on and what that person wants from him. i’ve said this before, but he’s so used to being used and manipulated that it’s literally what he expects from people at this point.he’s never surprised when his suspicions are correct, but he is slightly disappointed. it’s also partially because jace himself isn’t very trustworthy, and therefore kind of... projects that onto others. it’s also very... bizarre to him when people are just genuinely kind and expect nothing in return because, again, jace isn’t the best person. he’s very much aware of that, so he doesn’t really think he deserves to be treated well either.
