Part One
-To say you were taken aback would be an understatement, his eyes yellow irises were laser focused on your expression. Any outsider would be scared of his expression but you noticed that he wasn't actually upset but, he seemed almost...nervous?
-He awaited your answer intently, what was your type and did he fit into your standards?
-His eyecontact was both intent and surprisingly soft for his usual demeanor, the feeling that you felt was unlike any other. Was he hitting on you right now? Your insides felt bubbly as you opened your mouth to answer his question, "Well, I like men who are kind and hardworking."
-The cyborg immediately followed up your answer with yet another question, "Could you possibly be more specific for your criteria? Like physical traits or certain things you would appreciate from a partner?"
-You chuckled at his wording and began to think. Knowing him, Genos is asking these questions because he's highly interested and it was obvious to anyone with ears that he was wanting to fit your "criteria".
-Feeling daring you decided to flan the flames and humor the tension between you two "Hmm...a guy who pays attention to detail is always great... pretty eyes, and a good looking face" you fell silent before your final "daring" comment
"And I think blondes are pretty cute too."
-Your list set him completely off, he felt like he was about short circuit...he has blonde hair and hardworking but there's no way you're actually talking about him right now? There are a so many beings that you have encountered that have blonde hair so the probability of it being him can be significantly low. (Yes he is completely serious with this thought process.)
-After your little hangout, Genos tells his master absolutely everything, wanting to see his opinion. And Saitama is in complete shock over this and just decides to be straight honest with the cyborg.
-"Genos...you realize that they like you right? It's kinda obvious that they're talking about you"
-And this completely changes how he moves with you, he starts being bolder (as much as he could that is), and tries to lay it on thick and obvious. Until he just couldn't take the tension anymore
-It was after work and Genos was conveniently in the area and wanted to walk you home (The moment you mentioned the time in which you get off from work he immediately memorized it). It was later in the afternoon and the sunset peaked behind the pink clouds as you walked beside one another. Despite having vibrant conversation, the tension between you couldn't be cut by the sharpest knife in the drawer.
-It wasn't really a bad tension persay, but it felt like there was just something that was going to happen this time and you couldn't put your finger on it. However, Genos was plotting...
-He would finally gather the strength to tell you how he felt, he no longer cared if you did or didn't feel the same. You made him feel so love that he just couldn't take it anymore, everything about you made his chest core thump and his brain short circuit. And once he got an answer on how you felt then he could finally just move on with his life
-Ater all rejection is what builds strength, and there was about a 33 percent chance that you liked him back according to his calculations. (Yes, he influenced the data due to his own self doubt and insignificant hypotheticals but he just had to be sure!)
-Once you got to your apartment, you thanked him for walking you and he reciprocated a thank you for allowing him to. As you slipped your keys into the keyhole, and thinking he was about to turn away, he called out to you, "Excuse me, please wait."
-The cyborg paused clenching his jaw allowing you to turn and see him, he blinked before continuing, "I...I really like you."
-You smiled and replied, "I really like you too Genos, you're one of my favorite clients." But he just shook his head slightly.
- "No, no I don't mean it in that way. You're an excellent friend to me. But I like you...beyond friendship," he said, taking a breath before continuing.
-"After I became this way, a cyborg, I never imagined I would be this lucky to have such a good life, especially pertaining to..." blush tinged his cheeks before he continued, "being involved with another person...but when I am with you these feelings within me come out. I am fascinated with every aspect of you both mentally and p-physically."
-To say he looked tense was an understatement, however he tried his best to gather composure, "I understand that you may not feel the same, but I have fallen in love with you."
-The love confession was surprising, but not exactly unexpected from Genos. You had a slight suspicion that he held feelings for you, but you just chalked it up to him feeling a bit flirty or it just being a miscommunication.
-But, you truly did grow fond of the cyborg and to say that you didn't feel the same way as he did would be quite a lie.
-"I can't lie, I've been feeling the...same way, Genos," his core stuttered at your response...could this be going the exact way he imagined it?
- "I really appreciate you telling me and being the one to rip the bandaid off. I've always felt like something was there but I was a little scared to say something. I really want us to start seeing each other and not just hanging out but...going on dates," you finished, mustering the courage to say what you've been wanting to tell him and stare into his dark eyes.
-For a while, he was frozen and taking in every word that came from your lips. Until he powered himself up to speak again.
He quickly grasped both of your hands gently before blurting out, "You and I. Coffee tomorrow at Wake Up Cafe. As a date please."
- You giggled at his words, you could immediately tell that he was nervous but you didn't pay it any mind, "Of course, I would love to...Would you maybe want to come inside for something? Juice or tea? I know its a bit of a walk back to your guys' place."
-And whilst you were offering to be kind, you truly did just want him in your space.
-He nodded before a small smile graced his lips, "I would love that."

Genos in our world
He’s a college student and participates in the archery sports team, because of his abilities in this sport and his serious behaviour is known as Demon Cyborg.
He has won gold and silver medals in different competitions; his coach keeps trying to convince him to go to the Paralympic Games but he’s not so sure about it because he thinks that he needs to be better and work so much harder to be a total athlete like some of his peers.
Dr Kuseno is the one who takes care of the development and maintenance of his prosthetics, they know each other since the car accident where he lost completely his left arm and part of his right leg.
He now lives so far away from home because of college but every Christmas goes to visit his family and they do at least twice a month a video call.
Also, he participates in some road safety education campaigns to raise awareness in drivers and has a part-time job as a barista in a small coffee shop where he usually meets up with Saitama.
Genos enjoys a lot to be around with Saitama, he also learns so much from him, (or at least that’s what he says), one day while he was preparing the order for the older, he dropped the beverage making a real big mess, ‘I’m so sorry, let me prepare it again and I can give you a free cupcake to compensate it’ he got nervous and embarrassed by his own mistake, it was visible that something was wrong and Saitama reassured him ‘No problem, we can all have a bad day, it's all about how you take it, ah! and thanks for the cupcake’.
Usually, most of the customers get so angry with him for something like this, his new prosthetic was amazing but at that moment started to betray him, little did he know at the moment that it was running out of battery, but this mistake made him become little by little closer to Saitama.

-He had always been on his own, not that there is anything wrong with him, but it had just always been that way. It let him be passionate about his drive to be a hero.
-While Genos knew a good amount about the basics of life since he was 15 when he was turned into a cyborg, he had only focused on his goals. He didn't pay any mind to things pop culture.
-So when he met you, the blonde often didn't understand the references you would make. What is...Spongebob? He honestly knew absolutely nothing and this had you absolutely dumbfounded.
-So this lead you to have a weekly session where you would tell him about certain happenings in popculture from fashion, memes, music etc. It gave you a space to vent about "meaningless" things while he sat fascinated, hanging on to every word.
-While it was a little funny when he would turn to you and say "This is like *insert reference* correct, Y/N?" it was pretty charming :)
-As for music, he wasn't exactly a music person therefore it allowed you to play whatever you want. Genos always asked you questions on the artist and was curious about your interests.
-No matter what you would talk about or play when you came to visit, Genos would always be open to it :)

1. It is still very possibly a teenage level brain. Does this mean Genos will always have the emotional/mental maturity of a teenager, or is there some way to fox this. Will a brain even bother developing if there’s no organic body to go with it?
2. How does a regular version handle all that stimuli? Most brains will block out unnecessary sound and visuals to prevent us from being in constant sensory overload . So how would Genos brain be able to be required to perform all the functions of his body while also having such enhanced senses and visuals?
3. Vision. Genos eyes are black and can do that little thing where it takes speed, or location , or information about something. I wonder how much his brain has been toyed around with to make this possible.
4. I was thinking that a fleshy brain being tossed around in a metal body may result in concussion or brain injury. Now I’m sure his brain is held in place and protected very well, but how did his brain not get damaged even a bit when the Deep Sea King melted half his face off?
5. Genos does not actually have a human brain? Maybe his brain is not organic and it’s actually all artificial..???
I have heard the theory that he was never a human, but a creation with planted memories. Others extend this and claim that Genos himself was actually the “mad cyborg” that destroyed his town and that memory was erased. I’ve also noticed that Genos never talks about his family or past life with details that much🤔 Honestly... this sounds plausible to me. The only organic part of him is allegedly his brain. If he was created from scratch, then I think he would classify as an Android, not a cyborg
