I cant believe today, it was so surreal, I was with Zoë in the city, and I spotted out gentle-insomnia / Gemma /amazing cool artist and I was so nervous to go and say hello, and when i finally built up the courage, i actually almost broke down, Gemma was so lovely and kind, she is such an inspiration to me in terms of her art and her ability to tell little personal stories in her art. i cant believe today happened - plus she is so kind and beautiful and ahhh

Received this from gentle-insomnia today! I especially enjoyed the part about talking to animals and losing oneself in stars (two of my favourite pastimes). Also the envelope and the note with the drawing were really sweet. So happy.

shinji's blog feels like a warm hug every time i visit it. i feel soft bed linen rubbing against peach fuzz and honey sun shining through a window in nepal. i feel safe and all of a sudden once again aware of how very human i am; how human we all are. and she puts exclamation marks! after! so! many! things! and i just get very content with existence. but in a way that challenges me to be content also with fluidity and moving past your skin to inhabit the world. (also on this list of blogs/people that make me feel this way: Qian rictus ; Gemma gentle-insomnia ; Nat nvvt ; Mikee mooncot and many others)
