Today was the day Theo had to go to the doctors. His parents had called him enough times that it was starting to get annoying. But it needed to be done. He was finally going to get fitted for his hearing aids and see just how bad the damage was. The last thing he wanted though was to run into Liz. He had been doing such a good job, or so he thought, of hiding it from her and he wanted to keep it that way. But nothing seemed to be in his favor. 

Walking out of the doctor’s office, he looked down at the paper work they gave him, his eyes intently looking at words that jumbled on the page. His eyes watered slightly as the weight of his problem hit him in the chest. Not looking where he was going, his shoulder ran into someone else. “Oh... I-I’m s-sorry, I..” His eyes found the other’s, his body freezing in place. “Lizzie.”
