Ask game: All Might is under the effect of a sleep quirk so Izuku hangs out with Flame Might. Please.
I dub thee Sleeping Almighty AU
Izuku’s vestige form sat beside Flame Might in his dreams. Despite its inability to talk or react much, Flame Might’s inherent warmth helped Izuku with getting through on being unable to speak with All Might on the first day.
Three days after All Might was forced asleep, Izuku missed talking with his mentor so much that he—who often believed that he was undeserving of kind touches—decided to initiate physical contact and rested his arm beside Yagi’s.
Yagi was still unable to talk in the Vestige World, and his consciousness’ access to his Vestige form was limited. But he could hear and listen to Izuku’s stories, and express his feelings through his eyes. It took like a day or two to learn how to move his vestige form’s limbs, but his first act was to pat Izuku’s head and pull him close.
When Yoichi taught Izuku how to conjure stuff in the Vestige world, like a Heropoly board game or MightUno cards, Izuku and Flame Might were a team, as sometimes AM’s Vestige connection would fluctuate.
Izuku became skilled enough at conjuring things that he managed to dream his textbooks just so he could read under Flame Might’s glow. If he brought storybooks, he would read them aloud.
There’s a point where Tsukauchi revealed that the person who put All Might to sleep wouldn’t reveal how to get him to wake up.
Izuku started to spend longer and longer sleeping, and naps often just so he could spend time with Flame Might. It didn’t help that he’s also expelling energy as a Vestige when resting. Worried, All Might scolds Izuku through JSL. When Izuku wouldn’t stop (and started worrying his class and teachers), Flame Might snuffed its light out and refused to reappear unless Izuku took care of himself again.
(Inspired by the Maleficent movie) Only when a lonely Izuku pressed his lips on the side of All Might’s forehead did Yagi finally wake up.
Thank you for the DadMight AU submission, Gentry!!!

Fedz, I am horrified by your tags. Summaries are fun and easy? I have delayed fic posting by several days because summaries are awful to write. While I have never taken longer than five minutes to find a fic title. What is your secret? Whose soul did you steal for that power?
You take FIVE MINUTES to find a fic title?! You can just pick a specific limited number of words to encompass the entirety (tone, theme, brand) of your fic within 300 seconds, the tenth of the amount of time it takes for me to wake up in the morning?! THE TITLE, which might be acronymized one day and what your readers will refer to when they talk about it in their little servers and blogs and tiktoks? Do you have any idea how much I fret over accidentally making my titles have an accidentally rude acronym? Or how sometimes my first titles are too bland, easily recreated and duplicated? You pick them in five minutes and they're iconic as is??
Summaries are fun because I literally just spit on the keyboard and the summary box is filled for me. Better than A.I. (Not that I'd ever use it). If only I could do the same for the main body of my fics.
Fedz, I just saw your tags about you reading Anyone only since the crane chapter! (Or a little after that!) It is now my duty to inform you that all of Izuku's feralness is due to AFO moving in with him. He was a nice sweet and completely normal boy before that. Everything is AFO's fault.
Sure! I'll choose to believe that! I'm sure an owl fae deity would have no cause to trick me. Besides, faes are famously unable to lie.
By kindly providing that timeline, this meant that AFO moved in before Izuku broke into Tartarus (latter info gathered from your ask responses). Poor Izuku, tragically corrupted by some waffles. Thank you for clarifying <3 <3 <3
For the 5 hc game, an AU where Izuku, on his first day at UA, makes everyone believe All Might is his dad, please!
Izuku knew the drill. Every new school year, he gets singled out for being Quirkless by the current homeschool teacher. It was like that during elementary. It was like that during middle school. It WILL be like so in high school. He hates seeing his mother get called by the principal whenever Izuku ‘fails’ a task that his homeroom teachers had assigned him to do. So this time, he asks All Might to be his primary contact, so that his mom wouldn’t be bothered again.
When All Might finds out why (and after sending Nedzu a quick text to handle the Aldera faculty), he says, “Young Izuku, you do know that you won’t be singled out for your lack of a Quirk anymore, right?”
“Oh yeah!” says Izuku. “Still, I look like someone who’s easy to pick on. Soooo… Just to be safe?”
Sure enough, Aizawa does his threats of expulsion thing and singles Izuku out during the ball throw. However, when Izuku ranked last after the test, and before Aizawa could announce that the whole thing was a ruse, a sick-of-it-all Izuku pinned Aizawa with a hard stare.
“If you expel me,” Izuku said. “My dad won’t be happy. And if my dad becomes unhappy, then I think Principal Nedzu won’t be happy either.”
Aizawa is used to students who try to leverage their parents’ influence, so thinking that Izuku is a spoiled brat, he internally decides to proceed with the expelling after all. But first, he decides to humor this spoiled kid for a little longer. “Yeah? And who might your father be?”
Izuku’s eyes flick to the side. “He’s standing right behind you.”
All Might, who was listening to this entire thing unfold, took about ten seconds total in deciding to fully back up his fake son’s claims about his parentage. The entirety of Class 1-A gasped as he reveals his presence. Aizawa realizes that Izuku is right in that Nedzu will lose it if he loses All Might as a faculty member. The next day, the entire school is talking about Izuku being All Might’s son.
Izuku and All Might keep up the act because they believe that it is the only thing dissuading Aizawa from expelling Izuku.
I heard from a certain birdie that you opened application to become someone's dad and I am not surprised you would want to replace the perfectly good son you replaced because his quirk wasn't good enough.
So I am going to nominate your freaking son, in the hope that it sticks.
He is absolutely feral and not even the local Symbol of Evil can contain him so we are now counting on the Symbol of Peace.
He already has his own organization of vigilantes so he is ambitious and has a good sense of organization. I am pretty sure that if you put him in a hero school, he will become number 1 hero in two years tops. (The HPSC might not make it, though.)
He stole some shit from you? I am not sure about that part but I definitely heard Yami and his best friend talk about it at night, since those little demons keep invading my apartment.
You're probably already paying the child support so you could as well take him in.
If you enjoy a challenge, he is feral, he bites, and he will definitely fight back, so you're welcome. If you enjoy DEATH, I advise you to try taking his coffee from him.
If you don't care about challenge and you want a hypocritical story where you're one of those dads who do stuff for their children' own good and who want to rescue them from themselves, Yami has a pretty impressive caffeine addiction. Try doing something about that. But preferably outside of Japan. I live here, I don't want to watch it sink.
If you want the perfect successor (you probably do because I know your type), congratulations! Your son managed to acquire other quirks! We're not sure where because the only guy who can give quirks swears up and down that they are not coming from him. My... The annoyance in my life and I believe that Yami is stealing quirks from the Symbol of Evil in his sleep.
Honestly, the only reason why I am writing to you is because Yami ate the last chocolate donut and told me "What are you going to do about it?"
Here is where you can find him.
With no respect whatsoever,
Dabi, from Anyone
To Mr. Dabi,
I must insist that your accusations regarding my abandonment of a ‘perfectly good son’—apparently one named Yami—confuse me. To my knowledge, I haven’t become the father/honorary father of anyone who’ve went by such charming name.
In any case, the issue at hand seems to be that you’re attempting to get me to become this Yami’s father/honorary father. In which, as provided, my requirements for me to accept someone as my honorary adopted person are: (1) must be a Midoriya Izuku fan, OR (2) must at least agree that Midoriya Izuku is a true hero, OR (3) must be Midoriya Izuku. None of your statements illustrate what Yami’s opinions are on Midoriya Izuku, and the application would’ve been denied on principle for not complying with (1) or (2).
However, I admit that there is merit when it comes to its potential compliance with the third requisite, as some described characteristics reminds me strongly of Midoriya Izuku.
He is absolutely feral and not even the local Symbol of Evil can contain him so we are now counting on the Symbol of Peace. (My Midoriya Izuku is absolutely feral as well, and there was a time when not even my bentos could keep him with me. I’m alarmed, however, that the Yami has come into contact with the Symbol of Evil, though based on your wording, said Symbol of Evil seems to be no match for Yami. Midoriya Izuku, too, outmatches S.O.E.)
He already has his own organization of vigilantes so he is ambitious and has a good sense of organization. I am pretty sure that if you put him in a hero school, he will become number 1 hero in two years tops. (My Midoriya Izuku went vigilanting many times. And he is very organized, always filling his lovely notebooks. He himself is in a hero school and doing supremely well! I’m helping by always providing A+’s)
If you enjoy a challenge, he is feral, he bites, and he will definitely fight back, so you're welcome. If you enjoy DEATH, I advise you to try taking his coffee from him. (What a coincidence! Midoriya Izuku enjoys a challenge, is feral, bites, and will definitely fight back! Yami is proving to be quite someone worthy of being called a ‘Midoriya Izuku’ himself at this point. Furthermore, both of them share a deep obsession with coffees…)
The annoyance in my life and I believe that Yami is stealing quirks from the Symbol of Evil in his sleep. (While the initial anxious thought is that there exists another Quirk-stealing Quirk out there, it would be hypocritical of me to not think positively of someone attempting to use it as a fight method against the S.O.E. Indeed, my Young Midoriya has managed to steal that same Quirk in the final battle through the sheer might and power of his stockpiling one.)
In the foregoing, I’d like to inform you that Yami will pass requisite (3). I’m willing to bend the rules as he is a Midoriya Izuku to me.
Please know I will not tolerate coercion, and anyone is at liberty to apply or to refuse to be honorarily adopted by me. Should there be a change of heart for Yami, the application papers are ready.
For the ask game, an AU where young Dabi kidnaps baby Shouto, please.
When Shouto got kidnapped a few years after her firstborn died, this caused Rei to have a much earlier mental breakdown, having now lost two of her children. Endeavor did not force her to have another child with him, and sent her to be treated at the mental health institution.
Endeavor took the series of unfortunate events happening to his family as a bad omen. So he decided to stop his ambition of creating a child that will defeat All Might and simply focused on maybe outliving the man. He started taking good care of his other neglected children as part of his atonement.
Young Dabi had this idea of taking Shouto to Doctor Garaki and asking him to give the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk to Young Dabi instead. To his surprise, Shouto was more than onboard with the idea as he hated Endeavor’s approval. In any case, the transfer was a success, and so Dabi now has Cremation and HCHH. HCHH allowed him to better regulate his Quirk.
Young Dabi hated that Shouto could not even appreciate Endeavor’s love, so he backstabbed his little brother by giving him to All For One as ‘payment’ for the help. Young Dabi went back to Endeavor’s house, acting like he didn’t know how he was alive and why Shouto’s Quirk is in him. After a thorough investigation, Endeavor acted that his son’s return might be a sign for him to restart his ambition, and thus began training Dabi. (Damn it, Endeavor.) He never stopped looking for Shouto, however.
Shouto became All For One’s newest child project, setting him up to be a villain and a future U.A. mole. He gave him two Quirks: Everlasting Ice and Temperature Regulation. However, All For One also decided to put Shouto in Aldera Middle School to become Izuku’s friend/protector after his wife Inko had called him too many times about Izuku being bullied.
I am starving for new AUs so you made a really big mistake in reblogging that game.
Demon AU where Izuku makes a pact/cons someone, please!
Jokes on you I’m also starving for new AUs
This was the future that Nighteye saw: All Might wasn’t supposed to survive that first fight with Demons For One, lord of all demons. In his desperation to erode the rock-solid future, Nighteye sought for someone powerful enough to help him. The demon prince Izuku found him instead, already willing to assist.
After checking that it wasn’t a set-up, Nighteye agreed to let Izuku help. (Izuku wanted to topple his own father.) To gain enough power to change fate, Nighteye made a deal that will give All Might strength to survive and win the battle. In return, Nighteye will have to sacrifice his entire All Might collection, all past and future merch, to Izuku. Which is painful, but worth it to save All Might’s life.
It costed Izuku much of his own energy, but it works. Even though All Might had sustained a severe injury, Nighteye was only too thankful that the man’s death was averted. Worried for All Might’s health, he advised him to find a successor to transfer One For All to. Much to his shock and feelings of betrayal, All Might refused to heed his advice.
Angry that he’s sacrificed so much to keep the future bright and hopeful, yet was repaid with rejection, Nighteye sought Izuku again, his trust having been fully gained by the demon prince.
“I want All Might’s One For All quirk to be transferred to a worthy successor of my own choosing, namely Mirio Togata,” Nighteye carefully says his terms.
“Of course,” says Izuku, eyes sparking green. “Therefore, this deal entails you asking to have temporary ownership of One For All, correct? For the Quirk’s own terms of transfer to work?”
“Yes,” Nighteye agrees. “What do you want in return?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Izuku says. “The hefty price from your previous deal carries over.” He flashed a kindly smile. “After all, you have plenty of future All Might merchandise that I will come to own instead. And that future… You have sold to me in abundance.”
Oblivious to the fact that the demon prince counted One For All as part of the future All Might merch, Nighteye shook Izuku’s hand.
