Any thoughts on the very specific camera shots showcasing "Genuine" beer?

I know some production companies pay for brand endorsements but those camera shots, both with Buck drinking while looking at Eddie and then placing the food he tried 3 times to make on the table in front of Eddie, scream foreshadowing. Their genuine in their feelings for one another, their genuine in their relationship......

I'm curious if you've any meta with regard to food or food preparation. I love the behind the scenes inklings you have.

I have so many thoughts

mostly that sublty didn't just go out of the window - its in a different stratosphere!!

I do have theories about food and drink on the show - they are the same as many other people have. there is the massive contrast of the frozen waffles and the prepackaged fruit salad connected with Taylor, and the Eddie learning to cook and then Buck wolfing it down like it was going to be taken away from him. then there is @clusterbuck 's salad theory!!

But that lasagne is the stuff of dreams - because it shows Buck following the same path we saw Eddie take in S5 - the learning to cook for his boys path. and honestly the comparisons between the 5b dinner scene and this one are insane - I cannot wait for the GIF makers to get to work on that parallel - its just so good!!!! the idea of home cooked food - that Buck has been practicing to get right (three times - and three girlfriends of Bucks past anyone?!!!) and you said it perfectly above - they are genuine in their feelings for one another - their love is genuine as is the relationship they are building an heading towards

The beer though - the beer is making me a bit feral! Not only is it genuine beer - its also a yellow label and all the beer we have seen Buck and Eddie consume in bucks loft has had yellow labels - the "I could still take you" beer - yellow label and the balcony scene beer - yellow label. I have been banging on about the importance of yellow as a colour of communication for what feels like forever - and here we have it being thrown at us again - just to super emphasise the genuineness of it all. throw in Eddie wearing yellow and Buck and Chris wearing blue - and well the yellow and Blue theory I figured out in S5 is also alive and well (I will be writing more about this in my meta - I can assure you!!) the fun thing with the yellow blue theory is that is particulalry prevelant around gay ships nad couples - it has been used to great effect in other shows - Heartbreaker, Stranger things, Our flag means death - have all played with yellow blue colour theory and queer couples!!
