"Papa!" Shrieked an excited young boy, no older than six, to scurry towards his father. Wavy black hair a mess over his little freckled face. "Look what I made! Look!" He held up a small stone shaped into the form of a butterfly. To change stone to such a shape was surely impressive for one so young. It might as well be magic.

A smile adorned Genji’s features as the boy ran up to him in all his excitement. “All by yourself?!” He matched his son’s enthusiasm, studying the butterfly-shaped stone. “Most impressive, my son. And I expected nothing less.” Playfully and fondly he ruffled the child’s wavy hair.

“You will make a fine warlock, as powerful as your mother.” His lips curved to an impish grin before continuing. “...Perhaps even more so.”

Punzie was in the kitchen, humming quietly as she put the finishing touches on dinner. She finished assembling cheeseburger sliders and placed them on plates with baby carrots and baby corn, wiping her hands on her apron. With a smile, Rapunzel placed the plates on the table and straightened the place settings. Finally, she lit the two candles that sat in the center of the table. Now all she had to do was wait for Genie to come hunting for food.
