Thank you Julius for expressing what I’ve been thinkin. Now the real question is if Balleroy accidentally survived (via whatever his specialty is) what was in all likelihood an attack by Cecilus or if Cecilus did also use his potential dream magic on Balleroy too and not just Reinhard and Balleroy purposefully was meant to merely look dead.

The latter would fit Cecilus’s modus operendi too since in the scene prior to this w/ his colleagues guy was talking about making sure all of Vincent’s toys were intact. Death is obviously NOT ensuring such.

Aside from that. Could we pleaaaaase acknowledge the fact Balleroy could be alive since Felix suspiciously didn’t get a chance to examine him as I pointed out when we saw his body?

Cause MAN, we are pushing hard here the idea Balleroy was unwittingly yoinked into all this but nah, that guy as I have said earlier does seem the type to want the Empire to not be at peace with Lugunica.

What a compliment from Reinhard on the Divine Generals. Of course as Julius goes to glaze Reinhard internally tho Vincent just cuts him off and inserting himself into the scene being a drama queen lol. Guy trying so hard to be taken seriously I swear.

But this Emperor can’t get me to take him seriously after he went copy pasting story lines and nerded out w/ Julius over then. Nope. Too much of a silly event.

Admirable mental recovery from Cecilus here. Alas, my guy you certainly aren’t overcoming Reinhard anytime soon.

Also. Since this is Cecilus’s narration. It is interesting how he thinks Vincent’s abhorrence for waste despite abundance is one of his more “human qualities” hm. That almost sounds like Cecilus admires that viewpoint.

Seeing Cecilus be a bit vulnerable internally for a hot sec was really appreciated by me honestly.

Anyhow. Tappei casually having Cecilus mistake Reinhard for the OG Sword Saint Reid and pondering if that dude was still alive prior to being corrected he was the guys descendant is well..

-so Tappei (being the mega troll that he is) could be hinting at my theorizing there since actually yes, from a certain point of view Cecilus is not wrong to think Reinhard = Reid and that Reid is still alive if what I have mused is indeed true.

Hopping away from this Reid stuff and heeeeey common sense prevailing to not chuck an army at Reinhard. Can’t believe it’s Cecilus having to point that out to his fellow Divine Generals tho. C’mon guys! He is the battle junkie of y’all.

Reinhard is more the Kick Saint I swear to god. The little tremble in Cecilus’s voice as he got to experience Reinhard though… what a battle junkie my goodness. Groovy did call Cecilus out on it earlier but still.

Alsooooooooo. Ik Reinhard and Cecilus do have an actual duel at some point so I’m real curious to see how Cecilus would do where he isn’t nerfed and screwing around. Reinhard still will obviously wreck him but the gap would be interesting to see.

Oh. A thing I’d like to bring up too is Julius considering Reinhard’s entire strength a thing from the “realm of nightmares” like yeeeesh. It’s not wrong. However it’s clearly more signs of Reinhard lacking people whom accept him in his entirety.
