I was thinking about which non-Radchverse characters could handle the Presger and I hit upon Hwi Noree. She has the right combination of diplomacy, breaking and entering skills, and friendliness. Not to mention her superhuman ability to go with the flow.

I know the amount of people who do Dune-based art is small (let alone art based on the later books, following Children of Dune) but PLEASE I NEED ART OF MY SWEET HWI NOREE AND LETO II !!
God Emperor of Dune is actually incredibly realistic because it features two people who are deeply in love agreeing to marry each other and have a relationship which is meaningful and romantic, but not sexual. And then everyone who even tangentially finds out about this immediately starts asking if they're sure there's no way the two of them are going to fuck.
'Gentle Hwi' is a term I used to find weird but on my reread of GEOD, I get it now. Three chapters in and I'm saying "Where is my darling Hwi. Where is my beloved Hwi. Where is she." She does just have that effect on people.
What if you were a CLONE and AUTISTIC and you'd spent your whole life in ONE ROOM and they let you out of the room to go on a DIPLOMATIC MISSION to honeytrap an EMPEROR and you met the emperor and the two of you HIT IT OFF BIG TIME, so he made you permanent ambassador to his court, and then he asked you to MARRY HIM and people tried to KILL YOU because of it, and then you said YES, I'LL MARRY YOU but you couldn't even KISS HIM because he was a WORM, and there was a HOT GUY who was clearly INTO YOU, so you slept with him because you and your fiance are in an OPEN RELATIONSHIP but the hot guy was POSSESSIVE and PLOTTING TO KILL YOUR WORM FIANCE and you were getting ready for your WEDDING and held hands with your FIANCE and he CRIED and then you walked to your WEDDING VENUE and then you FELL OFF A BRIDGE
