At the end of Children of Dune we find out from Ghanima that Leto runs and runs and runs as the only way to temporarily relieve his horror and grief at the fact that he's giving up any chance of romantic love or having his own family to undergo a millenia-long body horror transformation.

Then in God Emperor Leto is physically no longer able to run. But Siona, descendant of Ghanima, when we first meet her, is running.

Just something I made for @starteas to let him know that he'll be okay, as hard as things may seem.

One artist to another, whenever life feels like it's becoming extremely overwhelming for one reason or another, I always remember how many lives are richer by virtue of me being in them. The same goes for you and anyone seeing this post. You may never know just how many people you made happier with your actions, your craft, or even just you being there.

And Evan, my only request, and I do mean my only one, is that you never lose sight of how much joy you've brought into the world just by being yourself. Whether it's being the captain of one of the better SMG4 ships around (and with two of the best characters no less) or making an amazing new series packed to the gills with potential, you always seem to find a way to surprise us in the best of ways.

So take as much time as you need, but always keep in mind that we believe in you, we always have. And me personally? Well, to put it lightly, you're one heck of an inspiration!

Siona description

May have missed some stuffed but I wrote down what Siona looked like at least after Leto tested her a while ago:

Siona was a beautiful youth with the look of a Fish Speaker. Her long hair was a deep brown, almost black, which she tied tightly. She had a gentle, oval face with prominent cheekbones. Her mouth was generous, and her alert, ancient eyes sat above a small nose. Veins stood out on her hands, and her expression was bitter. Her body was lanky and lithe. Something in the outline of her face and the placement of her eyes curiously resembled her long-dead ancestor, Ghanima, sister of God Emperor Leto II. She wore a black and gold outfit befitting her rank.
