To all my newer followers, sorry for the lack of any real updates over the last week. When I go somewhat silent, that doesn't mean I'm working, rather it means that I'm working furiously and making huge strides.
and that's just what I've done over the weekend. I managed to work in a decent pause menu, with the ability to customize every control. Also worked in a title screen, main game background, three more enemy types, and I'm currently working on the first boss (after which, I'll be adding all the chrome necessary, and then shipping out a demo for everyone to play)
Also! I've decided that Geo-Die will NOT be the final name of the game, as it feels just a bit too... unfitting for the minor plot to the game. The name is still tentative, but as of right now I'm thinking of calling it Geo-Mendum instead. It will fit the theme of the game much better (you'll see when you play the demo, and also look into the name a bit <.<)
Finally, speaking of the demo, my plan is to try to get it out either by the end of this week, or the end of next, depending on how much polish I am able to do this week, and how much trouble the boss gives me in terms of programming (I'm thinking of doing something interesting with him >.>)
