Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
When it comes time to go big or go home, the Malaysian giant turtle certainly gives it their all! As the largest freshwater turtle in southeast Asia, this species can reach lengths of up to 80 cm (31 inches) and a weight of up to 50 kg (110 pounds). Due to their size, they spend most of their time swimming, and only come onto land to lay their eggs.
