geoff’s office spitting facts
Louis and Geoff the turtle headcanons?
Geoff is a simple turtle with simple needs. He doesn’t do too much; sometimes he swims, he eats, he sleeps, he wanders out of his home sometimes, watching people as they pass by.
Geoff loves very few things. In fact, he dares say he only loves two things in this world: the child deemed his owner and strawberries.
His owner, Louis, is why Geoff bothers coming out of his shell every morning, why he swims up to the glass to watch the small boy move about his room.
When Louis takes him out of his home, Geoff is at his happiest. Not only does he get to be close with the boy, but there’s always a fat, juicy strawberry waiting for him in the boy’s hand.
Yes, those are definitely the two things Geoff loves the most.
Then, something strange happens that Geoff could not understand. Louis stomps into his room and slams the door, waking him from his slumber. Geoff doesn’t like what he sees.
Louis, angry tears in his eyes, pulls Geoff out of his home, but there are no strawberries for him this time. Still, he listens to the boy as he sniffles bitterly and tells him how much he hates his father. Seeing Louis so upset makes Geoff hate him, too.
But, that anger passes and Geoff forgets about it. Over the year, he enjoys the company of his owner and the luxury of fresh greens and sweet fruit. Geoff is happy in his home, happy to see Louis every day.
Then something changes, and Louis is not happy anymore. He’s crying again, and Geoff feels anything but happiness.
It only gets worse from there.
Louis goes away.
And Geoff doesn’t understand why.
No more Louis, no more strawberries, no more happy.
The father keeps him fed and watered, but never takes him out of his home. Geoff doesn’t like that man. He wants Louis to come back.
He wakes up every day and waits for him, but he never comes.
Something else happens, chaos that Geoff doesn’t understand. He hears people but never sees them. They don’t sound happy. They sound hurt.
He hears lots of scary noises.
Geoff is scared.
He wants Louis to come back now.
Soon, Geoff runs out of food and the water dries up, and no one comes to help him.
Still, he waits.
He waits for Louis every day.
Every night.
Until it’s too late.
The last thing Geoff thinks about before the endless sleep takes him is Louis’ bright, toothy grin, and a big red strawberry in the palm of his hand.
It makes him happy one last time.
Was that dead turtle AJ found geoff?
Dude, I hope not, haha.
I assume Louis had to leave Geoff at home when he got sent to Ericson because they didn’t allow the students to have pets or something.
...Unless Geoff broke free and traveled for years in search of Louis but died when he finally got there, but let’s not go there m’kay
Violet finds that chinchilla from a while back and Louis helps her take care of it because he misses taking care of Geoff
Awww!
That’s so sweet!
Oh, but imagine confessing how much he misses Geoff while helping her clean out it’s cage or something. He doesn’t like to think about Geoff too much because the last time he saw him was before he was sent to Ericson and there’s no way Geoff is still alive and it makes him sad.
So Violet makes him a little pin with a happy, smiling turtle on it that says ‘Geoff!’ and Louis almost snaps her in half when he picks her up in this huge bear hug because that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever given him and he’s never taking it off his jacket.
And he tries to make her a matching one of her chinchilla but Louis is a shitty artist and well......... he tried, okay? hahahahaha
Violet still wears it, though.
Are Marlon and Brody there with them? (and other kids who we didnt have chance to met)
Yes!
I was actually going to include a little bit when Willy and Mitch are sitting together in the treehouse where Willy sees Marlon stomp up to Louis with Geoff in his hands, upset because Geoff keeps bossing him around and telling him his gardening skills are shit. I cut it because I wanted the focus to remain serious on Mitch and Willy.
I ship Peanut the hamster and Geoff the turtle. Peaoff, if you will. Or Geonut.
Just to be clear, Peanut was Clementine’s pet, correct?
You really have the nerve to break my heart over a turtle huh?
Happy National Pet Day….?
oops
I can’t wait to see Them
