Hilma af Klint is a key reference in my practice. Her abstraction through the mystical, esoteric, spiritual, and cosmic channeling created work responsive to the biomorphic and geometric forms in nature. Her large scale, use of colour and symbols become a language in which I too am developing. These spiralling lines are used often in my work. These symbolise a down load of higher frequencies to me, I see these lines in nature and I’m using life force to channel this imagery.
